Meet the experienced staff who make Midwest Vision Care the leading provider of vision care products and services in Columbia.
Dr. Rachel Foster

She graduated in 2004 from Festus High School where she was involved in student government and athletics. Then she went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Drury University in 2008.
She is a 2012 graduate from the University Of Missouri St. Louis College Of Optometry, where she enjoyed student activities, intramurals, and being involved in the expanding world of optometry.
She now resides in Festus, Missouri, right across the river from Columbia, Illinois, with her husband Denny, sons Luke, Cole and dog Zoey.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.
At the local level, she is a member of the Kiwanis, Rotary, Columbia Chamber of Commerce, CROWN, United Methodist Church and Women’s PEO Group. She enjoys playing volleyball and gardening in her spare time.
Dr. Foster loves working at Midwest Vision Care, L. L. C. because of our office’s commitment to providing patients with extraordinary vision and ocular health care.
An added benefit is our staff’s great attitude towards our patients, young and old, whether it is related to Vision Therapy or an exam.
Our office also boasts an impressive array of products and advanced eye care technology, which enables a great overall doctor-patient experience.

Hello! My name is Lisa. I have been a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) for 20+ years.
Whether I am scheduling appointments, greeting people at the reception desk, or pre-testing patients, I want each patient to feel welcome. It is very important to me that every patient is treated with care and has a great experience at our office.
I reside right over the JB bridge in South County. In my spare time, I love spending time with my dog Stanford.
